South Bay Labor Council
Committee on Political Education (COPE)

The Committee on Political Education is the Political Action Committee of the South Bay Labor Council that represents the hard-core labor adherents in Santa Clara County. COPE has been famous for actually paying their members to walk for candidates to create the illusion of grass roots support. In this election, COPE contributed a significant amount of money for Griffith, Hendricks, and Larsson.
